Helllloooo. Today I just wanted to make a post about animals. I'm an animal person, so I absolutely love learning about animals and such. What's your favorite animal? Comment below so I can know more about all of you. My favorite animal is a dolphin. I love love love dolphins. They are one of my favorite things on the Earth. I love them so much! I have many reasons to go with it. They're adorable, talented, unique and friendly. Here are some really interesting facts about dolphins you might not know about!
-The maximum age for dolphins to live up to is 50 years.
-They have 100 teeth.
-They can jump up to 20 feet in the water. (Imagine that!!)
-Dolphins have to come up from the water to breathe, however they can stay underwater for up to thirty minutes.
-Dolphins evolved from land animals. The land ancestor of dolphins looked like a wolf. This animal hunted in shallow waters and slowly adapted to the water.
-They live in families, usually led by a female dolphin.
-Many dolphins will sleep with one eye open just below the surface of the water.
-They are number two on the list of World's Smartest Animals.
-Dolphins have their very own language.
-The Killer Whale is actually a dolphin, and it happens to be the largest dolphin.
-Most dolphins have a cute eyesight.
-Dolphins almost never attack, and when they do it is mostly because they are being captured and are defending themselves. In history, there's only been about three fatal dolphin attacks.
-Dolphins are not endangered.
